Introduction to Drawing Course
This 8 11/2 hour session course approved by both Renfrew
County School boards was developed for students at a senior
public school age. It trains the student in the skills needed
in order to draw what they see. It includes warm-up exercises,
lectures on topics such as line, value, perspective, and examples
of master drawings, drawing practice and class critique. The
student is left with a portfolio of drawings which act as
a review for the areas they need to consider each time they
want to draw.
Instruction would be weekly beginning the week following March
break. The school would provide 18”x 24’ paper
and 4B pencils for each student. The total cost is $600 plus
board mileage rate to and from the school from 14 km north
of Barry’s Bay and Wilno.
Kim instructed students at St John Bosco and Sherwood Public
Schools in 2005.
